I finally started incorporating more exercise in my routine. Just last week I’ve signed up for a gym membership literally next door to where I live. I don’t enjoy going to the gym and don’t even really know what to do to get results. But, I love the classes! All the classes so far are so motivating. So far, I’ve done Body Combat, Zumba, Cycling, Yoga, and Team Training. Team Training, which is like group coaching, is too intense for me. It’s also more expensive. So I’ve opted to not do it. Cycling is not exactly fun, but I feel like I get a good workout every time I go. I love the Body Combat and Zumba classes! I feel like Body Combat classes are perfect for when you’re pissed at something. It’s good at taking out frustrations and you really feel so powerful. Zumba is wonderful as well, it’s exactly the workout I would’ve like to get out of my dance classes. But regular dance classes are never as vigorous. Aside from the workout, I really like the Hydromassage machine. It’s a great way to unwind after an intense workout. Working out really makes you feel so much more energetic, confident and just ready to take on the day. I wish I was more of an early bird so I can incorporate an early morning workout. But realistically, I don’t think that’s sustainable. lol Better know yourself yeah? In addition to working out. I’ve also been more mindful of my food intake and have been tracking calories. I’m aiming to lose around 20+ lbs by next year. Let’s hope I can keep this up and reach my goal! I’m pretty realistic. I think the best action plan is always the one that is most doable. And so far, it seems very doable.
